So, what is the Art of Charm? A few years ago while at Michigan Law School, co-founder Jordan Harbinger realized what it takes to meet women. His friend AJ, himself a student in Michigan Medical School, challenged Jordan to get a random girl’s phone number within five minutes, a challenge successfully accomplished. The two realized that they both had the skills and knowledge about how to effectively communicate with members of the opposite sex. They began to teach their friends the skills they had learned, and were compensated with drinks and dinners. It didn’t take them long to realize that they could develop a business around their knowledge.
The pair began Pickup Podcast (www.pickuppodcast.com) while in Michigan to teach guys the best ways to communicate with women. Their podcast downloads increased each month validating their belief that a business could be developed from their skills.
Jordan moved to New York City and met Johnny Dzubak, a dating coach and rock star. Johnny began coaching men and women with Jordan in their New York City apartment. As the demand for their services grew, AJ decided he needed a break from school and joined them full time. Soon, the three founders realized that they were better off starting the Art of Charm, a school to train and instruct guys how to better communicate with people, especially women.
Jordan and AJ, both of whom use the pseudo last name Harbinger, produce a weekly podcast about dating and relationships that now has over 100,000 downloads each month and is available at (www.pickuppodcast.com). They now have a team of skilled and dedicated instructors that teach their methods to students who actually move into their apartment/office for a week of intense instruction and coaching. A one-week direct training session with The Art of Charm costs $3497/week, but is definitely worth the outlay. Graduates have learned lessons they will use in business and in social situations for the rest of their lives. They graduate with increased confidence and the ability to better communicate with everybody they meet in any social setting.
The future is bright for The Art of Charm. Their coaching services have grown to support hundreds of clients a year in cities all over the world including New York City, Los Angeles, London and Munich. Their podcast’s popularity has continued to grow each month and helped them establish the weekly SiriusXM radio show called “The Art of Charm Presents Game On,” heard on Fridays at 8pm EST on Sirius 108 and XM 109.
