Anthony Bourdain makes a reservation for Michael's in NYC

Anthony Bourdain, of Travel Channel's No Reservations, was spotted with a guest dining at Michael's in New York City.

The celebrity chef and writer gave an interview about a year ago of the dining spots he found most desireable in Manhattan. Perhaps he's considering adding Michael's to that list? According to Gawker he stayed for dessert at the Midtown venue.

Bourdain mentions some completely neccessary restaurants in his interview, and if you haven't been to each I highly recommend you do when possible. Perhaps you'll see Mr. No Reservations there during his time in NYC. Among the list he names:

For Anytime:

Momofuku Ssam Bar: Chef David Chang's ssam bar has garnered two of the coveted Michelin Stars. The bar has seating available at a counter or at picnic tables, and the signature dish is bo ssäm—a roast pork butt big enough to serve 10. 

For A Romantic Evening:

Del Posto: Opened by Joe Bastianich, Lidia Bastianich and Chef Mario Batali represent a convergence of different styles and experiences. It is said to be one of the ultimate Italian dining experiences.

For Something Completely Self Indulgent:

Masa: Chef Masa's reputation has been reinforced by numerous recognitions, including
Mobil 5-star award, New York Times 4-star review, and Michelin 3-star award. The Masa phylosiphy is shibui: simplicity devoid of unnecessary elements, and the honest presentation of materials.

I'm sure the chef would also recommend his own establishment, Les Halles Brasserie, which has two locations in New York. The restaurant is designed in the fashion of a typical Parisian brasserie, for more information visit their website here.
