10 places to eat out healthy - Part 2 - Greens & Grille

Greens & Grille is an eatery that proves you really don’t have to sacrifice taste for health! This unique diner offers variety, quality, and exceptional service.

What’s great about it

Greens & Grille definitely gets points for nutritional value! Their salads and sandwiches are made with organic greens, and they include no preservatives or trans fats in their meals. All of their dressings, marinades, soups, and side dishes are made from scratch daily, and their bread is delivered fresh each day from Olde Hearth Bakery. The quality with which they prepare their menu is obvious in the outstanding flavor and taste of the finished product.

Menu items

You can choose between sandwiches with grilled chicken, turkey, beef, pork, shrimp, or Portobello mushroom, salads with 27 topping choices and 9 different dressings, or a grilled item with sides. You can modify your meal and have your salad in a wrap instead, or add sides such as soup, grilled vegetables, hummus with chips, and more.

The kid’s menu offers grilled cheese or peanut butter & jelly, and comes with organic chocolate milk. To view the entire menu, click here.

What to Avoid

As always, portion control is important. Even if you go to a healthy restaurant but choose to eat a sandwich with a side of mac and cheese, a high calorie beverage, and a cupcake for desert you’re still not giving your body what it needs to function optimally. Life is all about balance, and this is especially true in the area of your health.

Locations

Greens & Grille is located near the Mall at Millenia, and will soon have a location at UCF as well. For address and a map, click here.

Once you’ve dined at Greens & Grille you’ll be sure to return. An additional plus for this is their Frequent Diner’s Card, which gives you a free meal after you’ve dined there 10 times.
