Keith is a freelance travel and sports writer who was born in Louisville, Kentucky. He moved to Charlotte when he was four, and continued to be a dyed-in-the-wool Kentucky Wildcat fan until 1982, when he saw Michael Jordan hit the winning shot in the NCAA National Championship game. Since then, he has bled Carolina Blue, and been following the Tar Heels in all sports.
Keith graduated from North Carolina in 1991, and got to witness many ACC and national championships by the Tar Heels while in school. Since then, he has enjoyed Carolina's premier athletic program, and most recently, its dominance over their arch-rivals, the Duke Blue Devils.
