Turn the Page Bookstore will follow its successful Sept. 17, 2011 book signing with a new event, scheduled from 12:00 p.m - 2:00 p.m. on Oct. 29. Nora Roberts, who with her husband, Bruce Wilder, owns the Turn the Page Bookstore, will be available to sign copies of The Next Always. This book, due out Nov. 1, marks the start of Roberts’ new Inn Boonsboro trilogy.
Roberts, Mary Blayney, Patricia Gaffney and Mary Kay McComas will also sign their newly released anthology The Unquiet. Writing as J.D. Robb, Roberts contributed the In Death series novella "Chaos in Death" to this work. Blayney offered "Her Greatest Treasure;" Gaffney, "Dear One;" and McComas, "His Brother's Keeper." Ruth Ryan Langan authored the fifth story in the anthology, "The Unforgiven."
Other romance writers invited to the Oct. 29 event include Gail Barrett, Susan Donovan and Marisa de los Santos. High-Risk Reunion, to be released Oct.18, is the first book in Barrett’s Stealth Knights series; Falling Together (2011) is the third book in de los Santos’ Cornelia Brown series; and Cherry on Top (2011) is Donovan’s most recent standalone title.
The Turn the Page Bookstore, located at 18 N. Main St. in Boonsboro, Md., usually sponsors only six signings each year. However, during 2011 it will hold a total of eight, with its Holiday book signing scheduled for December 3.
The bookstore has also released its schedule for the first two signings of 2012. The Valentine’s Day event, featuring the J.D. Robb In Death series novel Celebrity in Death, will be held Feb. 18, and on April 27 the store will hold its annual Washington Romance Writers Mega-Booksigning.
