Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals let you give back to charity

With Black Friday (11/27/09) and Cyber Monday (11/30/09) fast approaching, check out these stores and websites where a percentage of your purchases will go to help out your favorite charities/causes:

1.  We-care.com -  This website that let's you donate to the charity of your choice when you shop in their marketplace.  You can choose from nearly 1000 online merchants, including many large ones like Amazon, the Apple Store and Starbucks.   A percentage of your purchase is automatically donated to your favorite charity or cause.  Don't see your favorite charity on their list?  You can add them!  Several merchants are running specials between Black Friday and Cyber Monday.  A sampling of some of the many deals include:  

  • Home Depot  is offering $5 off purchases over $50.  
  • Vista Print is offering 75% of all photo holiday cards and 50% off all holiday products   
  • Keebra (the online book retailer), is offering 20% of your entire order.    
  • Petco is offering a plethora of deals including, 10% off  holiday toys and apparel for cats, $10 off of entire stock of FURminator Tools, free shipping on purchases of $50 or more and 20% off of selected items on its website.   

2.  Goodshop.com -  Another online shopping mall that lets you donate a percentage of your purchases to a charity that you choose.  You can also add you favorite charity or cause to the website.  With over 800 online merchants there are many deals to be had such as :    

  • Gap is offering 50% of GapKids and babyGap Cozy Fleece styles, Buy one get one free women pjs pants or men's/women's sweaters. 
  • Bloomingdales is offering 30%-40% off 1000+items 
  • Toys R Us is offering many deals ranging from free shipping with purchases of $49 or more to buy one get one half off on all Nintendo DS and PSP Video Games.  

3.  iGive.com - the Internet's first shopping mall with a percentage going to charity boosts almost 800 online stores and also allows you to give to a listed charity/cause or add your own.  A snapshot of some of the deals include: 

  •  Expedia.com is offering discounted travel packages for many destinations like Hawaii, Mexico, and the Caribbean.  
  • Gourmetgiftbaskets.com is offering 10% or $5 off any gift basket.  
  • Sports Authority is offering numerous deals including a Thanksgiving day sale of 25% off your entire order.  

4.  2009BlackFridayAds.com -  this online webportal releases ads for Black Friday before you can get them in the newspapers.  They are donating a percentage of their revenues this year to 2 charities - World Vision and the Milwaukee Rescue Mission.    

5.  UncleVic.com -- a discount consumer electronics online retailer, will donate $1 for every transaction on Black Friday to 6 charities, including: Boys and Girls Clubs of America; PETA; CHOC; American Red Cross; Make-A-Wish Foundation; and Toys for Tots.  You can help in choosing how much these charities gets by going to the Uncle Vic’s Facebook Fan Page and voting in their poll.
