Glenn Beck's version of the famous Franklin flag
Even before the thousands attending larger events across the country could get home to see what Glenn Beck's new website was all about the servers were overloaded. He announced to his viewing audience, about half way through his one hour show, "We bought the most expensive servers we could for this project and you have taken them down." With his usual smile and flare for sounding 'schmoish' Beck pressed on with the show.
Viewers and loyal radio listeners had been teased for weeks about the upcoming show as a part of Beck's 'We Surround Them' initiative. During the show he had many moving guests, including the author of 'The Lone Survivor' Marcus Luttrel who was the only survivor of his Navy Seal team, saved by villagers in a hostile nation. Integrity, courage, and honor were among the themes discussed early on and audiences were moved
Beck sat around a table with some friends, which is his challenge to all those who were watching. He encouraged everyone to gather around their kitchen tables frequently to study the history of our country. His studio audience received a set of books to get them started including 'The 5000 Year Leap: A Miracle That Changed the WorldI' by W. Cleon Skousen. In this book Skousen outlines 28 founding principles which Beck has boiled down to 9 along with 12 values.
Why the focus on 9 and 12? That is what the viewers found out about early on and that is what brought down the servers. First he let everyone know the connection. On September 10th, 2001 many people were burying their heads and moving through life. On September 11th, 2001 many were living in fear. Yet, on September 12th, 2001 we came together and just got things done because we knew what to do. We didn't need the government to tell us what to do, it was in our hearts.
With that connection to the date, 9-12, he revealed his new website designed for people to socially join together. Joining together is a major platform for success and survival. He had an assistant on the computer talking about people already viewing and interacting on The912Project.com. It was the end of the line for the servers, until tomorrow that is. In the meantime many are flocking to the citizen begun social networking site on Ning.com entitled 'We Surround Them USA.' Perhaps tomorrow Beck's site will be up and running but with or without it he's sparked a fire and according to Chuck Norris, "...it is up to us to turn it into a forest fire!"

I don't understand why there was NO coverage of
this event on the evening new or mention of it
on the radio new. This is new and should have
been covered by the media.

It's called liberal 'projection' and you are a perfect example on display. I'll take the pepsi challenge with you any day and cite liberal examples of hating America while you try to find examples of conservatives hating America.
