Mike Ricksecker is the author of the Chase Michael DeBarlo mystery series and has been writing most of his life. He cut his writing teeth as a young man with a myriad of short stories, novellas, and song lyrics, and served as the editor for The Monitor, the newsletter of the 29th Intelligence Squadron at Ft. George G. Meade, while he was a member of the U.S. Air Force. During the 2000 Presidential race he created a flyer that was used nation-wide by the George W. Bush campaign. Mike's first novel, Deadly Heirs, was published in 2004, and his next book, Ghosts of Maryland, is due out in spring 2010.
