On Friday, Denver's electro/dub DJ Max Klaw played a special guest set at Lipgloss, following the release party for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World soundtrack, presented by Filter Magazine. The soundtrack CD features new songs written by Beck and members of the Broken Social Scene, as well as tracks by Frank Black, The Rolling Stones, Metric and The Black Lips.

Joining DJ Klaw were Lipgloss resident DJs Boyhollow and Chase Dobson.

This week's giveaways included various swag from Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and tickets to the Midnight Madness Movies at the Esquire, which featured the 80's sci-fi favorite Back to the Future.
