On Friday, February 12, Denver's glamorous mohawked DJ Rockstar Aaron threw an extravagant carnival-themed Birthday bash at the
Rockbar (3015 East Colfax Avenue).
The party was hosted by Naughty Pierre Jean-Pierre St. Pierre and featured stilt walkers, burlesque performances by Lannie's cabaret dancers Midnight Martini and Peggy Tulane, cameos by Maris the Great, Faggoria, Sid Pink and a slew of other colorful characters.
Admission to the party was free to the general public, but VIP ticket holders enjoyed additional perks like free drinks, reserved seating, free movie passes and a gift bag.
Single Ladies flash mob took over the dancefloor with a surprise number, and Jenae Bordeaux put on a freakshow drag performance that evoked enthusiastic cheers from the audience.
Later, Peggy Tulane performed a burlesque tribute to Lady Gaga, complete with neon-colored glowsticks and a crazy costume contraption.
Joining Rockstar Aaron and spinning music throughout the night were guest DJs Paul Moschell (Manic Mondays at the Rockbar), The Blondes (Matt Black and Kitchy Ami), Chaotic (The Compound), and Markie (Tracks).
