On Wednesday, February 10, Bar Standard (1037 Broadway) hosted Westword's Artopia pre-party, featuring live art, music, giveaways, discounted Artopia tickets, drink specials, mini-manicures by Tootsies and makeup by Lillian Marsh Firelil.
Street-inspired paintings were done by Jolt, Shitty Kitten, Mike Graves, Jay Paul Apodaca, Scott Lefavor, Brian Curran, Brandon Bullard, Henry Daniel Bell, Thomas Evans, Sara Ford, Jamie Molina, ZEZ, Eric Cox, MOEH, Kevin Callison, Sara Adams and Derek Keenan.
Meanwhile, DJs Wesley Wayne, Mike Dee(z), MU$A (MC) and London Dungeon kept the music pumping and the crowd entertained. Drink specials included $3 bottles and $3 calls.
