The Daytona Beach Bandshell is located at 250 N. Atlantic Ave., direcly behind the Ocean Walk Shoppes. Weekends from May through October, Bandshell Live presents free con
certs featuring local, regional, and national acts. Directly after every concert there will be an amazing Fireworks Show straight off the Daytona Beach Pier! Also be sure to check out the fire-eaters, clowns, and other exciting acts.
On May 7 from 6:30 to 10 pm, 18 year old Alex Kinsey, a senior at New Smyrna Beach Senior High School, celebrated the launch of the Daytona Bandshell summer season with his first CD Release Party. RetroSpekt, a classic rock and roll band, followed Alex on the Bandshell stage.

The Daytona Bandshell is planning a summer filled with weekend concerts and movies, showcasing music of all kinds for the diverse Daytona Beach audience.
May 7 6:30-10p Bandshell Live Summer Concert Series Debuts, featuring Alex Kinsey and RetroSpekt.
May 14 7p-10p Cinematique Under The Stars, "The Sand Lot"
May 21 6:30-10 pm Bandshell Live, Summer Concert Series: 6:30 "The Fall", 7:30 "Low Profile", and 8:30 "Nickoloff" (classic rock).
May 29 6:30-10p Friends of the Bandshell, Summer Concert Series, One Simple Caveman (American), All the Above (Rock), Road Block (Blues & Rock), Finale -- a Salute to the Troops
June 4 6:30-10p Bandshell Live, Summer Concert Series: 6:30 pm: Hejira (Rick DeYampert on guitar and Karl Miranda on drums). 7:00 pm: the Park-O-Lators (Americana music, including original songs and covers of some of Rock & Roll's greatest anthems). 8:00 pm: Kelli White and Kelli Parsons - Two Trebbled Gals. Their new band features John Guthrie (Daytona Int'l Speedway) on drums and Scott Queen on bass, playing standards and classics from the 1940's-70's and a few of today's greatest hits. This show is FREE family entertainment.
