This kind of music is from the heart and sends out a call to action for those who want to make a difference in the world. Lizzie West and Baba Buffalo make this beautiful music together, and are bringing it to you tonight at Pete's Candy Store in Williamsburg. It is a mix of acoustic and folk, with a splash of Americana for good measure.
Lizzie and Baba found each other in this chaotic world about five years ago and have been uniting their hearts in song ever since. Their faithful companion, the Dharma Dog, goes everywhere with the duo, helping to inspire the music and enrich their lives. Together they host a live webcast each Sunday night called "This Abundant Life" where they talk about issues, play music, and discuss life. Each and every person who tunes in is better for it.
Lizzie West and Baba Buffalo will be performing tonight (Tuesday) at Pete's Candy Store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The music starts at 8pm, but get there a little early to find a seat and grab a drink. Pete's Candy Store is located at 709 Lorimer Street in Williamsburg. The easiest way to get there is to take the L to the Lorimer stop and then walk north for 6 blocks. It is on Lorimer between Frost and Richardson.
