Fans of comics looking for extra added entertainment heading into this weekend's Wizard World Comic-Con can visit Crescent City Comics for a pre-party event with industry professionals and meet with members of the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.
For those unfamiliar, the CBLDF is a non-profit organization that helps protect the First Amendment rights of comic books, its creators, retailors and readers. Hosted by Crescent City Comics, fans can visit this Friday, January 27th to enjoy free drinks and get a chance to win prizes such as original art, signed books and other items for those donating to the fund. It should be a great opportunity for fans to come hang out just before the convention with friends and also stock up on more material from their favorite retailer.
