Julius Peppers wants out of Carolina Panthers, but not too far

Carolina panthers defensive end Julius Peppers wants out of town, but he's a bit choosy about where he travels.

According to reports, Peppers wants to limit his destinations to four locations, including Dallas. Two of the other choices are also in the NFC.

Nice of Peppers to be forthcoming with his travel demands. It's always good to know your four-time Pro Bowler doesn't even want to leave the conference, so you run the risk of seeing him in next year's playoffs. That's like your wife leaving you but only moving a few houses away. You know there will be some awkward parties later.

Carolina will probably want a first-round pick for Peppers, which may leave the Cowboys out of the discussion. Dallas gave up their first-rounder last year in part of the trade for Roy Williams. If the Cowboys miss out on Peppers and Williams continues to average less than two catches a game, I fully expect this one to be added to the laundry list of Cowboys fans' complaints against Jerry Jones.

It was very nice of the incredible Mr Peppers to give his travel plans so soon. It is almost Forest Gumplike in its' design...Peppers wants to play for a team with 3-4 and John Fox will not allow him to play for an NFC foe...So, it will almost surely be an AFC team, probably Pittsburgh as Pepppers does want a superbowl ring.

However, Peppers said he would do nothing to CRIPPLE the Panthers. I would love to see them franchise him and call his bluff about the 4 teams eh would go to. That is nothing more than a threat to the Pantehrs, meaning, if you tag you really only have one team to trade me to and if you do not do that then I am sitting out! Yeah right! Go ahead and sit out Pep! Sit out during the peak prime of your career, after 30 years old, it all down hill for a defensive end. So, this coming season is the one where a 29 year old defensive end can make his marks and lay a real foundation for a possible hall of fame bid...as of now, Peppers is on the way to the hall of shame!
