A reported stabbing at the San Diego Convention Center, where Comic-Con is being held, in fact turned out to be a small melee in which one person suffered a scratch near an eye, but no one was stabbed, San Diego police stated.
The fight happened around 4:45 p.m. at the convention center at 111 W. Harbor Drive, according to a San Diego Fire-Rescue Department dispatcher said.
Police report the object used at the time of the scuffle could have been a pen or an inflatable toy but it's not confirmed.
Comic-Con runs through Sunday at the convention center.
