Conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh was rushed by ambulance yesterday to one of two hospitals where President Barack H. Obama was allegedly born.
Limbaugh, 58, was taken to The Queens Medical Center in serious condition by paramedics, according to Honolulu television station KITV. Limbaugh was taken from Kahala Hotel and Resort after suffering chest pains.
"Rush was admitted to and is resting comfortably in a Honolulu hospital today, after suffering chest pains," according to a statement from "The Rush Limbaugh Program."
Kit Carson, Limbaugh's chief of staff, said Limbaugh left for his usual Christmas vacation on Dec. 23 and is due to return to his show on Jan. 4.
Limbaugh was seen golfing at Waialae Country Club—a country club next to the hotel—earlier this week, KITV said.
Limbaugh began capturing conservative listeners in the 1980s and grew to become the highest-rated radio broadcaster in the U.S. Recently, he's boosted ratings by railing against Obama's presidency.
Obama, ironically, was allegedly born at The Queens Hospital, according to a report on snopes.com. http://www.wnd.com/index.php?pageId=103306
