Is Palin the Energizer Bunny? Get ready for 2012

Sarah Palin is resilient. She is optimistic. She is determined. She takes a beating and keeps on ticking. But can she overcome the obvious media bias that was displayed in last year's presidential election and continues to be displayed even today?

You don't pick a fight with someone who buys their ink by the barrel. That old newspaper adage contains truth, but the media landscape is changing. And Palin didn't pick the fight.

I contend that Sarah will get the last laugh.

Obama obviously is the media darling, and has even been bequeathed god-like status by his friends in the Fourth Estate. www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2009/06/05/newsweek_editor_evan_thomas_obama_is_sort_of_god.html

Here's the thing. Even though Obama is now at the head of the class, the eggs that his administration is laying are going to hatch and those chickens will come home to roost. The stock market continues to climb, but it's rise very well may end sometime before the end of the year followed by a downturn associated with massive inflation and other catastrophies.

It has been predicted that Sarah Palin will be our next president. light-seeds.com/Palin.html

I don't know if I believe it, and obviously can't say whether this prediction will come true. But I do believe she will weather these storms much like Ronald Reagan did with his eternal optimism.

If she isn't elected president in 2012, I predict she will run for Mark Begich's senate seat in 2014. From that seat she could be a thorn in Obama's side.

She may have bigger fish to fry, however. Consider Palin's work on the historic agreement between TransCanada Corp. and ExxonMobil. The two announced yesterday, June 11, their agreement to work together on the Alaska Gasline Inducement Act (AGIA) gas pipeline project.

AGIA was created as a commercial vehicle for advancing the gas pipeline project through the first stages of development of what will be the largest private energy project in the world. "In a volatile world with growing energy needs, the time is now to develop Alaska's valuable resource for the environment, economy and national security,” Gov. Palin said.

As leader of the Last Frontier, Palin will continue to work for a positive future for her state and the nation. And the price of fuel is tracking upward as I write this.

In the meantime, David Letterman, Keith Olbermann and others of their ilk will continue to get their jollies off of Palin and her family.

All the while it looks as if Obama is cooking himself in the free-spending batter of his own creation.

America may be ripe for a populist conservative reformer come 2012.

She's a nut - I hope the Republicans nominate her for President so she get's her ass kicked in 2012 by Obama.

And she looks like a slutty air-line hostess.

    Gibberish by a Palin fan-boy.

"But can she overcome the obvious media bias that was displayed in last year's presidential election and continues to be displayed even today?"

Right - all you have to do is listen to her to see she's an idiot who appeals to the bottom-feeders of the GOP.

At the rate your Black Osama is destroying this country, I seriously doubt we will make it to 2012.

I didn't believe the liberal media bias against Palin, but I do now. They want so much to isolate her as a freak, and they want her to represent the Republican party. I'm old enough to remember the names they called Reagan. Palin must educate herself as Reagan did and stand on her own. Remember even someone as formidable as Robert Kennedy told his staff to not get him in a debate with Reagan. Not a bad commentary on "the great communicator."

While 0bama has taken no action on energy issues, Palin is moving ahead with the pipeline. While 0bama is cutting missile defense, Palin has spoken out against such a foolish move given N. Korean's recent actions. While 0bama drives the country into massive debt, Palin has cut her state budget, and maintains a $7 billion reserve account. By 2012 most people will have realized that 0bama is nothing but a hot air balloon, and the media is his hot air generating machine keeping him aloft.
