Reports continue to come from out of Saints' camp, but the team will confirm nothing until final cuts are made tomorrow to trim the roster to 53.

Now it is being said that center Nick Leckey has been released per WWL's twitter.

Word is also out that newly signed Kendrick Clancy is being let go per his agent. It appears as if rookie Al Woods did enough to win that roster spot.

Rumors had circulated that safety Darren Sharper would be released as well due to not participating in any preseason games or training camp practices. Sources are now saying that Sharper will be placed on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list meaning he will miss the first six games of the season.

Sharper has said he is ready to practice and feels as if he could play in the season opener on Thursday against the Minnesota Vikings, but it doesn't appear as if the Saints' coaches feel the same way.

Some are saying that Junior Galette, Usama Young, and Adrian Arrington are all going to be on the final 53-man roster. Again, nothing is confirmed 100% until it comes from the Saints' organization.

I feel good about the cuts, it keeps us younger and hopefully with that youth will come a hunger that will catch on strong in the team throught the season. 2DAT

Darren Sharper, more than anyone, was responsible for the turn-around in the Defense last year. The Saints should do everything they possible can to keep him around to teach the young pups and give him a chance to win back his starting FS spot.
