Whether you hack, seek to network with new media professionals, or are still wrapping your mind around the concept of intra-office email, Internet Week New York should be on your calendar.
Running from Monday, June 1 through Monday, June 8,
Internet Week New York is a festival of events saluting the City's thriving Internet industry and the many talented companies, organizations, and innovators creating the future of online media.
Throughout the week, participants will be able to attend events thrown by organizations such as Content Next Media, New York Women in New Media, the NY Television Festival, FledgeWing, CAT, and Dollar Van Demos.
Like the web itself, the festival is open to everyone. All interested companies and organizations are invited to participate, and anyone can
attend events or
throw events citywide. No organization is too big or too small to be included.
An official kick-off party will take place on June 1, and there is closing celebration on the final night. To receive updates or up to the minute information about the festival, become a fan on
Facebook or follow the event on
Twitter.
