Wednesday, January 6th, Benjamin Bratt (Qechua/German)will guest star on the new hit comedy, Modern Family. He is guest starring as Javier, the father of Gloria’s son, Manny and ex-husband to Gloria. The episode is titled Up All Night and will be the first episode of the new year.
Javier is often talked about, but has not yet been seen - though he cancelled a visit with his son at the last minute in a recent episode. So far he has been perceived as unreliable, so this should make for an interesting visit when the audience finally gets a face to put with the descriptions. Fans are interested in knowing how things will settle between Gloria’s ex and her new hubby Jay. ABC has only hinted on their website that “Gloria does not like Jay's reaction to the arrival of Manny's father.”
Modern Family stars Ed O’Neill as Jay Pritchett, Sofia Vergara as Jay’s wife Gloria, and Rico Rodriguez as Manny along with two other family sets to round out the show.
