As promised last week, the National Park Service and National Park Foundation yesterday announced more entertainers who will  perform at the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony 2009.

Jordin Sparks, Celtic Woman, Joshua Redman and Brad Mehldau will join Sheryl Crow, Common and Ray LaMontagne in the celebration on the Ellipse at the White House on December 3.

A lottery, which ended on November 6, was held as a way for the general public to obtain tickets to the event. For those who wish to enjoy the tree lighting from the comfort of home, this annual kickoff to holiday events at the President's Park can be viewed live at www.thenationaltree.org on Dec 3 at 5:00 p.m. EST.
