A You Tube video reportedly showing Fox News personality John Gibson making a racist comment has turned out to be a hoax. There is a strong reason to believe that the person who planted the video is shockingly, another reporter. The video that spread all over the left side of the blogosphere was posted on You Tube under an account named “jon13210”. I saw the video this morning and wrote down the account name before it was removed. Others are reporting the poster as “john13210” but that is incorrect.
I searched on Google for jon13210 and several accounts on video and photographic websites are all linked under one person named John Sanders. John Sanders is or was a technology reporter for WBAL11 in Baltimore. Here is a link to a page about him on WBAL11's website.
Let me clear, I am not 100% sure that Sanders is the hoaxer. However, other videos on You Tube posted under the same account name include videos of John Sanders on the air for WBAL11.
So do we have a case of a reporter on reporter smear operation, or are two reporters being smeared by some other hoaxer? Mr. Sanders needs to clear this up.

If John Sanders works for WBAL TV, he is an employee of Hearst Broadcasting and should not be identified as a NBC reporter.
