An open letter to my NASCAR readers,
Everything in life in constantly in motion, and with that in mind I must announce that the Detroit NASCAR Examiner column has run it s course. I am leaving this column to pursue other writing projects both on examiner.com and on other sites as well.
For my NASCAR readers, well I have been hired by MTR Media as the Director of Content for their site nascarcomplete.com. For my Detroit fans I will also be working with MTR Media on a new site called detroitsportscomplete.com. They have a lot of cool ideas beyond writing and very shortly we will be announcing a weekly NASCAR, and Detroit Sports podcast.
Of course I will also still be writing here on Examiner.com on both the National and Detroit Editions. On the National Side, I will still be writing my Sports Business Column, and my NFL Draft Column. For the Detroit edition I have a new Detroit Sport History column that should be a lot of fun to write as well as read.
Of course even though I am moving to what appears to be bigger and better things, I am kind of sad to bring this Detroit NASCAR column to an end. This was my first column on examiner.com and without it I never would have got my foot in the door to all the other stuff I do now.
In my heart I will always be a NASCAR guy first, and I will always have a NASCAR column somewhere on the net, for the foreseeable future, it will be at nascarcomplete.com. What else the future holds as I build my writing career, I don’t know, but I don know I couldn’t do this for a living without all my readers.
