Before we get to the top five, I listed the finishes that barely missed the cut.
Honorable mentions include 2004 Banquet 400 at Kansas, 2005 Ford 400 at Homestead, 2007 Food City 500 at Bristol, 2004 Samsung Radio Shack 500 at Texas, 2005 Coca Cola 600, 2007 Goody's Cool Orange 500 at Martinsville, 2008 Daytona 500, 2002 Aaron's 499 at Talladega, 2009 Coke Zero 400 at Daytona, 2001 Dura Lube 400 at Rockingham, 2007 UAW-Ford 500 at Talladega, 2002 Sharpie 500 at Bristol, 2003 Subway 400 at Rockingham, 2002 Daytona 500, 2008 Camping World 400 at Kansas
5. 2000 Cracker Barrell 500 at Atlanta
This was a phenomenal finish that had everyone on the edge of their seat as Bobby Labonte and Dale Earnhardt approached the finish line.
4. 2007 Pepsi 400 at Daytona
Jamie McMurray and Kyle Busch's photo finish tied the 1993 Die Hard 500 at Talladega as the second closest finish since electronic scoring.
3. 2004 Subway 400 at Rockingham
This is one of the most underrated finishes of all time. The defending series champion versus the rookie in only his second career race. Oh yeah, it was the final race at the storied speedway.
2. 2001 Cracker Barrell 500 at Atlanta
Kevin Harvick's win in only his third start was perhaps the most emotional of the decade.
1. 2003 Carolina Dodge Dealers 400 at Darlington
Not only was this the best finish of the decade, but it is arguably the best finish of all-time.
