Beyonce has premiered a new video today for her song with Lady GaGa, "Video Phone." The song is from the deluxe edition of Beyonce's I Am...Sasha Fierce album.
As is usually the case when major names make a music video, Hype Williams directed the clip. He was able to find a happy medium between the style of each singer as the video is a little out there by Beyonce standards but shockingly tame by Lady GaGa's. She doesn't even get to wear a mask in this one.
"Video Phone" begins looking like a sexed-up Reservoir Dogs then turns high tech with some special effects. There's a bit of gun play too, though both singers use what clearly looks like toy guns so as not to run into problems with the censors.
Lady GaGa's The Fame Monster has another collaboration with Beyonce called "Telephone." We'll have to wait and see if another video together is in the works.
