Blink-182 team up with pickRset and create limited edition merch for tour

Blink-182 will be hitting the First Midwest Bank Amphitheater in Tinley Park, IL on August 15, 2009 and fans attending the show have the opportunity to request songs and buy limited edition items.

Fans can choose the songs that will be played at the Chicago date.  Pick R Set is a fairly new music industry addition that gives fans exactly what they want at concerts and Blink-182 is using this tactic throughout their entire tour.

pickRset founder Chris Siglin explains, "We tried to create really special limited edition items for this tour  which will include posters, toys and nightly event t-shirts. Our goal was to do something really unique for all of the fans that they can  not get anywhere else other that at the shows."

Teaming up with designer/artist Acorn for the creation of a limited edition Blink-182 toy bunny which is to only be sold on this upcoming tour.  The bunny is described as, 3 inches tall and full of fury. There will also be a 40cm tall version to follow, limited to only 250 pieces.  One must wonder what type of frenzy will be created if only a limited number is to be sold at each show.

Not only is Blink-182 offering up limited edition bunnies at each show, but also special limited edition Silk screened posters.  They teamed up with artist Maxxx242 for this creation, and only thirty pieces will be sold at each show.

If you are a huge Blink-182 fan and are going to their show here in Chicago, I suggest you get there early if you want to obtain some of these limited edition items.
