Disgruntled brothers make the best music.

Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher are the definition of rock and roll. That definition is of course, drugs, and alcohol, we shall leave the sex portion out of this discussion. Yes it is true that the brothers' Gallagher have often found themselves in trouble with not only the law but with themselves. Liam and Noel demonstrate the love-hate aspect of a brother relationship.

Oasis became mega hits in their homeland of Great Britain then shortly afterwords they hit it big in America. All the sauces was due to the emergence of the band's first two albums; Definitely maybe, and Whats the story morning glory. Those two albums climbed the charts not only in Britain and the U.S. but also all across Europe and Asia, the British phenomenon that was Oasis had arrived.

While the Gallagher's have been the main stay in the band, the supporting case of Oasis has changed on more than one occasion. Different guitarists have come and gone, also same with the drummers, as Ringo Starr's son is currently holding the position as Oasis drummer. The one thing that doesen't change is the dysfunctional relationship that is held between Noel and Liam. They very rarely give joint interviews because they always end up in a fight between the two stars.

While usually still found to be butting heads with each other, some things have changed for the good for the band. In the past few years, Noel has given Liam some control of the band and also has allowed him to write some of the tracks. This move has sort of reinvented the band to the public. After going through a span of about eight years of mediocrity, Oasis has reemerged into a powerhouse once again with Dig out your soul.

Oasis is currently headlining a nation wide tour with pal Ryan Adams and his backing band the Cardinals. Adams emerges as a perfect fit to open for the Gallagher's as he is almost a replica of the two. As a frequent drinker himself, Adam's shines through in his music and doesen't much care about any other aspect of his life.

The tour is coming to town on December 19th at the Susquehanna bank center in Camden NJ. While tickets may be on the pricey side, this is a show that should be great. Lets just hope that the Gallagher's and Adams don't party too hard the night before.
