The Who will be performing during halftime of Super Bowl XLIV, according to reports by Sports Illustrated.
The NFL remains tight-lipped about the mid-game entertainment for their Feb. 7, 2010 championship game, saying, "When we have something to announce, we'll announce it."
By then it will likely be a moot point, though, as SI is reporting the performance by the classic rockers to be a done deal.
Past Super Bowl halftime performers have included Michael Jackson, U2, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, the Rolling Stones, Prince, and Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake and the infamous 'wardrobe malfunction' (see slideshow of past performers below).
The who - featuring original members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend - have not performed in North America since 2008.
