New talent competition in Nashville

There is a new talent competition in Nashville, sponsored by Tennessee Concerts and Windows Off The Cumberland, in association with Sonic Bids. This is a brand new competition and your band can still get in on the first go-around.

Promoter Pat Adams, of Tennessee Concerts, makes clear his reasons for initiating the competition, on the Sonic Bids website: "Pat has a vision and commitment to helping bands fine tune their presentation and hopefully be rewarded for their efforts in a tough economic time, where promotion is key and crucial to take your band to the next level. Pat pledges to make your experience with this opportunity a fair and pleasant one."

Monthly winners of the competition receive everything from an engraved plaque to a personalized, custom band web page, maintained for one year, on the Tennessee Concerts website. Other prizes include the band's drummer getting a free one year subscription to the Not So Modern Drummer magazine, one of the sponsors of the talent competition. The winner for 2009, chosen from the monthly winners, will receive prizes that include a booking at the music venue Windows Off The Cumberland. The video of that event will then be promoted on the Tennessee Concerts website and on You Tube. You can click here for more information on this great new talent competition in Music City, USA.
