Barenaked Ladies free Super Bowl concert and 2010 Taste of the NFL in Fort Lauderdale

Barenaked Ladies fans get ready, the boys will be in South Florida on February 6th at the 2010 “Taste of the NFL". A ticket to the charity event will set you back at least $500.00. The proceeds from this event support food banks in every NFL city.

A statement about BNL was released on the Taste of NFL website:

"We are thrilled to have Barenaked Ladies as the 2010 Taste of the NFL entertainment," said Wayne Kostroski, founder and executive director of Taste of the NFL. "The Barenaked Ladies have been making music and entertaining fans for 20 years and now will help address the needs of the hungry and homeless by entertaining Taste of the NFL guests."

Taste of the NFL will take place Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 at the Broward County Convention Center in Ft. Lauderdale Florida.

FREE Super Bowl concert in Fort Lauderdale featuring Barenaked Ladies, O.A.R., and Robert Randolph and The Family Band.

If you cannot afford a ticket to see the Barenaked ladies at the "Taste of the NFL", they are also going to be performing a FREE concert!

Barenaked Ladies, O.A.R., and Robert Randolph and The Family Band will be performing a free concert on February 6th. The concert will be held on Fort Lauderdale Beach from 4p.m.- 10p.m.

The Sun Sentinel reported the concert will be held at "Fort Lauderdale Beach Park'' parking lot. The concert site is off State Road A1A, a few blocks south of Las Olas Boulevard.

Shuttle buses will be available from city parking garages to the concert site.
