The OC Music Awards ceremony is still a couple months away, but the process of determining winners begins on Tuesday with the first OCMA showcase at The Detroit Bar. In these showcases, bands will compete for the titles of Best Live Band or Best Live Acoustic. The bands that win will be granted a performance at the awards ceremony at The Grove of Anaheim.
But there is more at stake than just the opportunity to play in front of the audience at the OC Music Awards. Fender is making a contribution to this year's showcase series. The winner of the Best Live Band and Best Live Acoustic contests will each win a $2500 voucher for Fender gear. So come on out and support local musicians.
