Another season of American Idol is in full swing. In the time that the show has been on the air, audiences have seen a lot of performers come and go. Some are memorable for the right reasons. Others are memorable because, well, they choose to be memorable rather than good. Whether you remember her or not, Megan Bobo was a contestant who stuck around on the fifth season of the show. She nearly made it into the top 24 contestants. One thing I can say for certain (having interviewed her and the Ramos brothers) is that the experience of being cut from Idol did not make her bitter. She is truly one of the most down-to-earth, and genuinely kind people you could meet.
And meet her you can. Or at least you can go to see and hear the band for which she is the vocalist and chief lyricist: Neverwonder. The band will release its new CD Let it Out Saturday 6 February at LA landmark, Molly Malone's. And you will not be cheated with this CD. This isn't some 9-track album that the band just wanted to throw out there. There are 17 tracks on this album, so you'll get a healthy dose of Neverwonder goodness. Head on up to Molly Malone's on Saturday. No pre-sale tickets are available, so if you want to get your copy of the new album at the release party, get there early. Tickets are $10. The show starts at 10.
