As previously reported, David Archuleta performed on The 2010 Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon on September 5. He premiered a new song "Things Are Gonna Get Better" live. The show is airing now live from The South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa in Las Vegas through Labor Day.
The Telethon raises public awareness of MDA’s battle against muscular dystrophy and related diseases. Pledges and donations from Telethon viewers support MDA’s programs of worldwide scientific research, medical care and support services for individuals and families affected by any of the more than 40 neuromuscular diseases in its program.
Archuleta is set to release his sophomore effort Other Side of Down on October 5th. 19 Recordings/Jive Records is launching the album with the upbeat single, "Something 'Bout Love" co-written by Archuleta, Sam Hollander, Dave Katz and Chris DeStefano and produced by S*M* & Sluggo. The "Something 'Bout Love" digital single is available on the song is on the radio.

Didn't like it and I am a huge fan of David! It sounded very 70's country/AC for me. Hopefully the new album will be much better!
Love it, very proper for the occasion. David participates in a lot of these worthy causes, glad I have a job and able to donate. I think he'll also be on SU2C , might not be performing but answering phones possibly.
David chose a good song for the event and he sounded and looked great. He also answered phones there all night. I think I heard he is performing on SU2C. BTW I think the SU2C donation team of David's fans called Crush Kids Cancer won the pre-event team donation challenge (by donating the most money).
