Carmen Electra is set to host Billboard's New Year's Eve Live airing Thursday, December 31 (11:00 PM- 12:30 AM ET live; CT/MT/PT tape- delayed on Fox). The event will celebrate the biggest night of the year in a coast-to- coast television event. Electra's career has mixed acting, singing , dancing and theater. She recently appeared live at MGM's Grand Vegas' Crazy Horse Burlesque Show to sold out crowds and can currently be seen in the movie "Oy Vey, My Son Is Gay".
Performing on the show will be American Idol Season Eight winner Kris Allen and finalist Allison Iraheta who will take the stage in Las Vegas to perform hits from their latest albums. Sean Kingston, who self titled debut went number 1 in 21 countries will also be performing several of his biggest hits.
FOX cameras will be there to capture every moment from Las Vegas and in New York City as the world-famous New Year’s Eve Ball makes its descent into Times Square. The New Year’s celebration will showcase some of the most memorable moments from the historic Billboard Music Awards, and will count down the Top 5 of the year in music, movies and television.

Wow! That will be a great show. Kris Allen is winning hearts all over. Love his album - but especially love to watch him live when he changes up his music and his moves to fit the crowd. So glad that more than the idol crowd is discovering what a remarkable artist he is.

I'll be watching to see Allison. She is so talented and she got an amazing voice. Her CD is one of the best debut album from an Idol alumni. I cannot wait to see her singing live, that will be the bomb
