In an effort to bolster a Halloween spirit that is potentially lacking in enthusiasm, Detroit native and undisputed King of Shock Rock Alice Cooper has released "Keepin' Halloween Alive" for digital download and radio airplay. Available for streaming on Alice's MySpace page and for download via iTunes, with the Cooperoke version viewable below, the new song possesses a snarly playfulness to it and a vibrant garage rock sound reminiscent of earlier holiday anthems like "Monster Mash". Piggy D., guitarist for Rob Zombie, co-wrote, co-produced, and played rhythm guitar on the track which also features Dave Pino (Powerman 5000) on lead guitar and David Spreng (Bob Dylan) on drums.
Currently on the road with his "Theatre of Death" tour, which coincidentally doesn't include a stop in Kentucky, Alice has been busy hosting his nightly radio show called - of all things - "Nights With Alice Cooper". Although syndicated on over 100 stations worldwide, the only Kentucky station broadcasting the program is WDNS 93.3 FM in Bowling Green. In the information age, however, that's a mere inconvenience as several stations (listed here) broadcast The Coop online.

BEST SONG EVER
Dang! Even when Alice is doing a just for fun, tongue in cheek novelty song it rocks. This guy is still an amazing live act and still puts out great albums. If you don't own a ton of Alice, you simply don't like rock.
that was awsome! he still has it
