The tradition of excellence continued Saturday night as the Tosco Music Party held its final performance of 2009. Held three times a year, the September performance included 20 different acts from all over the globe.
The event has become a Charlotte institution as well as a 501(c)(3) charity supporting the music arts within the Queen City. Organized and put on by volunteers, with the performers contributing their skills as well, the thousand folks who attended this event were treated to an international music variety show.
During intermission, as well as after the show, the audience were able to gain some one-on-one time with the performers and get autographed copies of CD's and other merchandise. A true benefit of an intimate evening.
The nights performers included:

Australian folk country artist Audrey Auld, along with internationally known singer-songwriter and musician, aussie Anne McCue shared humorous lyrics with an awesome and powerful voice.
Americana, classic folk, bluegrass all expertly blended, combined with delivery which is rich in harmonies, is why The Farewell Drifters have met with such success in their debut album, "Sweet Summer Breeze", and fans make them a popular request on Sirius/XM radio.
A well deserved intermission followed and provided about 30 minutes for patrons to refresh themselves and also meet with the artists and get a signed copy of their latest releases. The second half would prove to be even better.
