Quebec jazz trio The Lost Fingers debut release Lost in the 80’s is set for digital release on November 10.

The album features an eclectic blend of 30’s style jazzed-up renditions of 80’s classics by the likes of AC/DC, Stevie Wonder, Technotronic, Bon Jovi, Michael Jackson, George Michael, Samantha Fox, and Céline Dion.

Lost in the 80's, originally released in 2008, earned platinum certification for sales of 100,000 within Quebec alone, according to CRIA statistics.

The group has been massively successful both in Quebec and across Canada.

Lost in the 80’s was 2nd in Canadian domestic sales only to Nickelback's Dark Horse.

Their second album Rendez-vous rose was released on June 16, 2009 and features versions of successful French-language songs.

The Lost Fingers have been nominated for two Juno Awards and are planning a full U.S. tour in support of Lost In The 80’s for February 2010.

See their official website for more details.

Did you know? The Lost Fingers take their name from legendary jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt who lost 2 fingers in an accident.
