Avril Lavigne’s ex, rocker Deryck Whibley, has wasted little time moping over his breakup with the Canadian punk pop princess.The Sum 41 frontman was spotted getting cozy with model Hanna Beth Merjos in Las Vegas on Friday .
Wenn reports that the couple were partying hard at the 20th anniversary of The Mirage hotel and Casino.
They dined with friends before taking in Slash and Friends’s show.
Tommy Lee and rock band Daughtry also performed shows with the ex-Guns and Roses/Velvet Underground guitarist.
They wrapped up the night at the Jet Nightclub, where they danced until the wee hours.
Lavigne confirmed on her website that the couple had officially broken up. Both Whibley and the The “Girlfiend” hitmaker insist that the split was on good terms.
Whibley and Lavigne are both currently working on new albums.
Did you know? Sum 41’s new album is expected out sometime in early 2010.
