John Lorinc began his career in communications when he became a radio announcer during his junior year at Penn State University. After graduation, Lorinc returned to his hometown of Pittsburgh to continue working in radio, eventually becoming the morning news/traffic reporter for the "Quinn in the Morning Show" on WRRK. In 2000, Lorinc moved to Atlanta where he spent nearly a decade working as a anchor/editor at CNNRadio.
