Laila has always been bad with deciding on pathways in life. She grew up in multiple countries around the world, have had 12 different types of hobbies and changed her university major 3 times before deciding on--and ultimately graduating with a degree in-- journalism. The one consistent love in her life has been music, so when it fell into her lap as a profession, everything seemed to make sense. Laila has worked for Alternative Press magazine and currently review local and national bands on a regular basis. She never feels more alive than when she's interviewing bands, and has been blessed with the opportunity to interview some of her idols. She hopes to never stop writing about music as long as it exists.
