Amanda moved to Richmond in 2004 to seek a Bachelor of Arts in English from Virginia Commonwealth University. She got her degree, but realized that while she knew plenty about Tolkien and Shakespeare, she didn't know enough about her new hometown. Nowadays, she seeks to know as much history as she can about Virginia's glorious capital via museum tours and long evening walks seeking out local bookstores.
