Like other sponsors, Dell Computers has now pulled their ads from running during the MTV reality show, Jersey Shore. TMZ reported that the PC Company is accusing the show of ethnic bashing. From here on out, Dell will now be blocking all ads from being run during future episodes of the hit reality show. They told TMZ that their reason for pulling their ads is that they don't condone or support ethnic bashing in any form.
Dell is just another corporate sponsor to pull their ads during air time of the Jersey Shore. They are the 3rd sponsor following in the footsteps of other major companies like Dominos Pizza and American Family Insurance.
NYDailyNews.com reported that the advertisers began pulling out after the Italian American group, UNICO National, said they were outraged by Jersey Shore and would put pressure on sponsors to cut ads until MTV takes the show off the air.
This sure does open up a lot of air time for new sponsors! Interested?
