Fans don't want their CI actors to leave the show.
Fans of Law and Order: CI are mad.
After doing a few articles on the departure of the CI stars Vincent D'onorio and Kathryn Erbe, I received lots of comments. All of them angry about the drastic change and sudden decision to phase out the popular actors.
There is now a grassroots effort to save the actors, which would in turn, save the show.

The site tells you where to send "fluff" (marshmellow topping,) send cards and emails. They even have a link to "Wiki" which they say has reported the effort, I went there and didn't see it. Was it removed? There was also a link to one of my articles, it doesn work!
Remember fans, demonstrating should always be done within the law and never violently.

Wow! Thank you very much for helping us get the word out! There are so many people out here who are joining the campaign to let the network know what we think of this ridiculous decision. We want Goren and Eames and we are not giving up! I am in on the "fluff" campaign,as well. Apparently, the USA Network's slogan should be changed to "Only Fluffy Characters Welcome". Thank you very much for reporting this. The Wiki mention is under the History section of the article. Yes, we are mad. But we wouldn't disgrace the people we are trying to save by violence or unlawfulness. We simply love the show, and its stars, the way they are. The departure of Goren and Eames will mean a mass exodus of fans, pure and simple. We have the right to be heard.
VD'O would prefer the money spent on this fluffy campaign sent to the Utah Meths Cops Project.

The Fluff will certainly be donated to the local NYC food banks, so it is not a waste of money. I am sure the food banks will put it to good use.

Thank you so much for this article! We Goren and Eames fans are definitely peaceful, but we will not be ignored! Goren and Eames (D'Onofrio and Erbe) are the heart and soul of LOCI. If they go, I go!

Goren and Eames ARE Criminal Intent. Without them there is no reason to watch it or USA network (only Fluffy Characters Welcome)
Big misstake if if they let go of D´Onofrio and Erbe.

In response to "C"'s comment, are you a representative of Vincent's? If so, then let it be known that I made well over 10 posts advertising, gathering and providing information regarding the Utah Meth Cops Project with links to donate. The links are still on my site and if anyone wants to donate they can go there. If there is anything "officially" you need to say, "C", then say it. If not, we will forge ahead if only to let Vincent know that he is not riding off into the sunset alone, that he is flanked on both sides by fans that appreciate him...including his charitable efforts.

Really appreciate you giving our campaign some air. I think USA/NBC are starting to get a little annoyed with us, but then they probably also thought they could throw out Vincent (and Kate, AND Eric) as if they were last week's garbage and we'd just meekly sit by and let them do it. Big Mistake...HUGE!!
I am still puzzled by the articles from various papres saying that the negotiations are still ongoing, they are scheduled to tape the season nine premiere episode on Oct. 16th, name and details at TheReelBlog, are they all leaving or is it just Vincent? Maybe Kate and Eric are trying to make a deal and stay, would anyone watch the show without Vince? Also why no statements from Kate or Eric only a curt "no comment" from her representative? A statement from them would help us understand the situation, only one statement so far and that was a short message from Vince, in which by the way he left more out than he put in, no reson for why this announcement of his intention to leave took until August, why not tell wolf during the filming of season eight he didn't want to return? Too many questions and so far too few answers, it smells fishy to me, why all three if only Vince wanted out? This is wrong in so many ways, the only answer is to boycott the new version, shut the show down!

Pay no attention to scheduling updates. We are talking about the network that not only postponed Season 8 MULTIPLE times, but they also "scrapped" a few of the episodes that had already begun filming when the writers/showrunners changed. Schedules mean nothing to these people. It's a ploy to get us loyal fans to shut up. And we will not shut up! Ever! WE WILL NOT BE IGNORED!

If only we could do something to keep Vince, Kate & Eric. If it is true that it is only to save money and to change the dynamic of the show to more what USA wants then it will definitely accomplish that because no one will watch (no disrespect to Jeff)and then the show will be gone. But don't you think, Bobby-Addicts, that VDO has been hinting that it would be OK to leave? I hate it and I will miss him in that wonderful role but are we sure he doesn't want to go? I am all for saving Goren and Eames if they really want to be saved. I take comfort in the fact that VDO is the most gorgeous and talented man in the world and he will be in a lot more movies so we will still get to see him. If I am wrong and they want to stay, where do I show up to picket?

I have enjoyed Goldblum's work in several films, but he cannot replace D'Onofrio. Goldblum's essentially a SCAB, willing to work for much lower pay (if what I've read is true). Noone can take the place of D'Onofrio & Erbe, whose remarkable performances have not received due recognition (how much DOES it cost to buy an Emmy?). With Goren & Eames, LOCI is the only show worth watching on USA (we 45 year olds DO have money to spend, dear advertisers). THANK YOU Vincent & Kathyrn for 8 great seasons of drama (which seems to be a dying genre on TV). Vince, you're wrong when you say there's no art in TV. YOUR performances on TV HAVE BEEN ART. Not being able to see your work truly saddens me. You say you are a character actor (as opposed to "leading man" material) but you have proven to be much more. I'm tired of Hollywood's current "leading men" (who can't act) being shoved down my throat at the box office. Hope to see YOU more on the big screen in the "leading man" roles you deserve.
