Tatum O'Neal (Rescue Me) has joined the cast of the indie film Mr. Sophistication.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film tells the story of "a successful but self-destructive comedian who loses his celebrity status and then gets a last shot at stardom back in Los Angeles years later." Harry Lennix (Dollhouse) has already been cast in the lead; O'Neal will play his wife and business partner.
Danny Green (The Tenants) will direct.
