The long-awaited sequel to 1987's Wall Street is finally making its way to theaters. Titled, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, will arrive on April 23rd. Oliver Stone is back in the director's chair and the slick and greedy character, Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas), has served his time and ready to pick up where he left off. Shia LaBeouf steps into the co-star role alongside Douglas. Other notable cast members are Josh Brolin, Carey Mulligan, Frank Langella and Susan Sarandon.
Reports are stating that Charlie Sheen will indeed have some type of role in this sequel. Many outlets reported over the last year or so that Sheen was definitely not going to be apart of this. Sure his character would probably be worked into the story, but appearing on screen was unlikely. Reading the synopsis on IMDB, chances are he does have a small cameo or perhaps flashback sequences from the first film will be worked in this one. Teaser trailer below:
