On Sunday, August 30th, the Tampa Theatre presents the Vaudeville Revue and Picture Show. The afternoon will be a blend of live entertainment, and a presentation of a "short" titled One Week. The film, which runs about twenty minutes, is a pioneer-comedy classic which stars Buster Keaton.
From there, the Vaudeville Revue will be staged by the Franzini family, in which they will perform five unique acts live. Also, performing in this variety filled afternoon is a true legend named Rosa Rio. Rosa, who at the tender age of 107 (its true), will be playing the famous organ that is housed in the Tampa Theatre. Rosa has been scoring films, radio, and television for over 70 years. Even at her beyond-veteran age, she still plays in a vibrant manner which is inspiring to watch.
