The Wall Street 2 trailer is finally out. This Wall Street 2 trailer release follows years of speculation that the film was "coming soon", and now there is actually proof for audiences that it is going to come out. Called Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, the film looks to return Michael Douglas to one of his most famous roles, and update a story all about greed on Wall Street. The first trailer has just been released to try to create buzz, and it has at least created buzz for people wanting to see the trailer.
This time around it appears that Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas) may be on the "good" side of things after being released from prison for what he did in the first movie. Shia LaBeouf plays a money tycoon who is dating his daughter (Carey Mulligan), and several other big name actors are along for the ride. At the top of that list is Josh Brolin and Frank Langella, but good luck trying to figure out what they are doing in the movie based on the Wall Street 2 teaser trailer.
Oliver Stone is back as director of Wall Street 2, but a lot is being kept under wraps about where this film will be heading. Sure there are web sites out there where you can go read plot spoilers if you want to, but the enjoyment of watching films like this is the opportunity to be surprised. Hopefully Wall Street 2 is holding back some of those surprises, because the first trailer seemed like nothing more than a tease to wake people up about Michael Douglas returning to the big screen.
So, fans of cinema, what do you think about the first Wall Street 2 teaser trailer? Does it make you want to see the movie? Timely yes, but will it be good?
Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps will hit theaters on Friday, April 23rd, 2010

Nice. My husband definitely wants to see it and it comes out just in time for his bday :)
Music is? just not appropriate. This film should be an intelligent, elegant, austere, high finance film. Waiting over 2 decades for this. Not happy....
Would love it if Frank Langella had a bigger role.
How to go from Gordon to Glitter Man !
Michael Douglas is Liberace !
Hugh Jackman as the very young (prequel) Liberace ?

Gary Sinise as Liberace's brother, George ?
Sally Field as Georges Wife, Dora ?
Kurt Russell as Elvis Presley
