The two categories that Twilight has received Grammy nominations for are Best Compilation Soundtrack Album For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media and Best Song Written For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media. The people behind the music in the first film of the Twilight series have to be delighted to hear about this news.
In the category of Best Song, the song chosen from Twilight is called Decode and was written by Josh Farro, Hayley Williams & Taylor York. It's a tough category this year though, as the song will have to go up against The Climb (Miley Cyrus), Jai Ho (From Slumdog Millionaire), Once In A Lifetime (Beyonce), and The Wrestler (Bruce Springsteen).
In the Best Compilation Soundtrack category, Twilight goes up against True Blood, Slumdog Millionaire, Inglourious Basterds, and Cadillac Records. It's a bit surprising that there is no Miley Cyrus in the category after she sold all those record for her film.
