Announcing the 2009 Razzie® Award Nominations

It is award season again. This time of year brings nominations for best achievements in all apects of film, from director, to actor, to costume, and lighting. On Tuesday morning, the 2009 Academy Award® nominations will be announced, once again pitting Hollywood against itself for who will win big this year. But as everyone knows, with every winner there is also a loser, and no one likes exploiting Hollywood’s yearly losers like the Razzie® Awards.

The 30th annual Razzie® award nominations were released this week, and they do not disappoint in showcasing those helpful reminders that selling a lot of tickets does not make a movie good. While the Oscars® celebrate the greatest achievements in film over the past year, the Razzies® aim to smear all the horrible storied, just for the paycheck acting, and terribly directed films that have stunk up the silver-screen over the past year. This year, the Razzies® even added “worst of the decade” to their nominations in honor of 2010.  The Razzie® award ceremony will be held the night before the Oscars® on March 6th.

For your enjoyment or dispute, here are the 2009 Razzie® Award Nominations taken from www.razzie.com...

Hands down, All About Steve was the worst movie. It's crazy to be nominated for being in the best and worst film in the same year. Go Sandra Bullock.
